In 2008 construction of the front 9 holes started, opening in 2010. The back 9 construction was started in 2009, opening in 2011.

Thousands of tons of earth and material were moved to sculpt the course layout you see today so as to create great golf holes and ensure consistency of playing surface and drainage.

Three large tees were created for each hole, with the tees and greens being built to the top USGA construction standards.

Greens were created with tantalising slopes and breaks. Bunkers were created using the then new Sportcrete system allowing for good drainage. We are now starting to use a heavier type of sand to improve the bunker experience.

Many different types of wildlife, both plants and animals can be found around the course, adding to the experience, including: deer, badgers, red kites, buzzards, and in (spring/early summer) skylarks.
